The Junior School Swimming Carnival for Years 3 to 6 wrapped up an exciting and action-packed Term 1 of swimming lessons in the Burchnall Sports Centre. With fierce competition in the water, every swimmer poured their heart into earning points for their Houses, making it an unforgettable celebration of their progress, commitment, and hard work throughout their Term 1 swimming lessons. Every student deserves a standing ovation for their incredible performances in the pool, especially for the teamwork they displayed.

Teachers and parents were particularly impressed by the boys, many of whom were still building confidence and refining their swimming skills. Despite these challenges, they showed immense grit and dedication. Clayton Dyer House earned the Henry Ayers Cup for 2025 with an impressive 832 points. Alliston Jones House followed closely behind with 781 points, while Brooks House scored 563 points, and Stokes Ware House rounded out the competition with 561points. A heartfelt thank you goes out to all the Tina Shaw for organising the pool for the day, and Junior School staff, for professionally timekeeping, marshalling, supervising, and ensuring the boys got to each event on time. A great day on the calendar.
