On Friday 18 September the Year 3s invited parents, boys and staff to explore their Travel Expo and learn about Australia’s neighbouring countries. This term students worked in pairs, each researching and exploring a country that neighbours Australia. Students presented their learning in a Keynote presentation on iPads and also made a travel brochure. Students brought in props, decorated their stands with traditional items, native flowers and foods, handmade posters and miniature flags to give away.

Felix Siow (Year 3) officially opened the Expo and welcomed our guests. It was wonderful to see so many parents supporting the expo as we all dreamt together of the places we will visit when travel restrictions are lifted. Every stand had a wealth of information to share and tempted our visitors with exciting and extraordinary facts.

The Function Space in Junior School was a buzz of excitement as we welcomed our parents and other family members into the School. We have missed opportunities like this and were so grateful to have such a wonderful turnout.
