Students from Years 7 to 12 led Muster last week, speaking in Chinese, French, German, English as a Second Language and Spanish. This was a fabulous occasion to showcase to the School community what the Languages Faculty has been involved in during Term 1. The boys spoke about the cultural celebrations of International Mother Language Day and Harmony Day. These events gave the language students an opportunity to appreciate cultural diversity and show respect for others. We also acknowledged the achievements in the Education Perfect World Championships, which took place in March, and especially our high-flyers, Johnny Turner and Joey Fitzgerald, who achieved an Elite Award.

The second part of the Muster focused on the Languages Societies ran by the School. Each society offers language support in a relaxed atmosphere and there are always plenty of fun language/cultural activities to keep students entertained! All students are welcome to join a society, details of which are listed below. We encourage boys to come along and broaden their horizons.
