Our enthusiastic team competed in the opening round of the Law Society Mock Trial competition against Mercedes College. Persuasive arguments were made and we successfully won the matter whilst it was a draw for the trial process. We were fortunate to have a judge who provided helpful guidance that will be beneficial as we progress through the rounds.
Round 2 was held in the District Court where we successfully won the trial whilst losing the matter with Adelaide Botanic High School. The boys continuing support of each other shines through and underpins the good result. Thorough preparation and a demonstration of commitment, has been a highlight of the activity.
We look forward to the next round in Term 2.
