It is with great pleasure that I share with you that Madame Castrechini-Sutton, Coordinator of French and long serving member of staff, has been recognised for her work by the Educators SA Volunteers’ Service.

The significant event was held on Thursday 20 May at the Adelaide Pavilion. The Honourable Michelle Lensink, Minister for Human Services presented the awards to the recipients.

Ms Castrechini-Sutton has held the position of Vice President of the South Australian French Teacher’s Association and has been an active committee member of SAFTA since 2011. As a committee member she has worked tirelessly over the past ten years with other French educators, from a range of junior and senior schools, to promote inter-school events and to organise and deliver professional development for French teachers in SA. In addition, our talented teacher has led annual workshops at the University of Adelaide to support students in Years 11 and 12 in both the SACE and IB.

We thank Madame for her dedication to the teaching profession and her service to the wider community. Félicitations!
