19 August 2022
On Wednesday 10 August the Mathematical Association of South Australia (MASA) hosted its annual Quiz Night after a two-year hiatus. The quiz night is an opportunity for students for form teams of four and get together with different schools for a fun night of mathematics and general knowledge. The quiz night is held simultaneously at various schools across metropolitan and country areas. The quiz night consisted of three divisions: Junior (Years 7 and 8), Intermediate (Years 9 and 10) and Senior (Years 11 and 12) and contained both Mathematics and General Knowledge sections.
This year St Peter’s College teams were host by Blackfries Priory School, competing against students from Blackfries, Christian Brothers College, St Aloysius College and St Dominic’s Priory College.
I would like to congratulate the following St Peter’s College teams on their success on the night.
- Team 1: Casper Cai, Alex Koh, Wilson Lee and Jack Pillay who won the Mathematics Award and the Overall Award (Combined Mathematics and General Knowledge) for the Intermediate Division.
- Team 2: Cruz Leon, Henry Lehman, Adi Baghel and Daniel Cao who won the Mathematics Award for the Junior Division.
Thank you to MASA and Blackfries Priory School for facilitating an engaging and fun quiz night for our students.
