As part of our studies of Materials in Science this term, the Year 4 boys were very fortunate to have Mr Thomas Masullo, father of Anthony Masullp (Year 4), as a guest speaker.
Thomas, a Director of Woods Bagot Architectural firm, shared his knowledge of the materials used in building practices. He explained to the boys about the properties of a variety of materials and how they can effectively be part of building designs. He also enthralled the boys with his career as an architect.
Thomas finished by posing the question ‘What materials would you use to make your ideas into a building?’.
