The St Peter’s College Mission Guild, founded in 1923, has a long history of service to the school and the wider community.
This year we raised more than $62,000 in funds, donating to St John’s Youth Services and Anglicare SA including the Magdalene Centre, Elizabeth Mission, Outer Southern Hub and Christies Beach Emergency Relief. Members of the Mission Guild raise funds through a number of initiatives and activities including the Mission Guild Recycled Uniform Shop, Pop-up Stalls, our annual High Tea and Movie Nights.
The Mission Guild also facilitates and supports Service Learning within the School, students are given the opportunity to volunteer at events and prepare meals for the homeless at the Magdalene Centre. Students and families are also encouraged to assist those less fortunate through the Mission Guild Christmas Hamper Appeal.
2023 will be a busy but exciting year as St Peter’s College Mission Guild is turning 100 and we are looking forward to celebrating this milestone with everyone.
If you are looking to join this wonderful committee or help as a volunteer, we would love to hear from you. No matter how much or little time you have, all support is gratefully appreciated.
