On behalf of the St Peter’s College Mission Guild, I wish to thank all who attended our 100th Anniversary High Tea on Sunday. We hope you enjoyed the event.

Your presence and engagement played a vital part in the overwhelming success of this year’s High Tea and we are pleased to announce that we raised $45,000.

Because of your support and generosity we continue to make a positive impact in our community with all proceeds donated to Anglicare SA and St John’s Youth Services. These charitable contributions assist those who are vulnerable, disadvantaged and enduring difficult times turn their lives around and most of all, offer hope for the future.

I wish to express my gratitude to Kirsty Whiteman for her hard work, dedication and commitment to the High Tea event. Her efforts were such an integral part of the event’s success and instrumental in achieving our goals.

I would also like to acknowledge the members of the Mission Guild for their help with preparation and set up with a special mention of Claire Grace, Jacqui Milne, Lidwien Verdegaal, Madelyn Duckmanton, NicolaHughes, Flora Liu, Anne Sclater, Joyce Jaeger and Sonja Scobie. We couldn’t have done this without you!

Finally, an enormous thank you to Daniel Franklin of Mosquito Hill Wines our Event Sponsor, for his extremely generous support and most fabulous array of French inspired premium wines from the Mt Jagged region of the Fleurieu Peninsula. Please visit his website at mosquitohillwines.com.au for further information and to place an order.

Our combined efforts are an inspiring reminder of why we initiated this fundraising event and why I joined the Mission Guild. We look forward to seeing you at future events.

We welcome you to become a member of our wonderful committee or volunteer in the Recycled Uniform Shop to assist in raising money for such worthy causes. For further information, please email us at missionguild@stpeters.sa.edu.au.

Most sincerely
