We are thrilled to share an exhilarating and unforgettable experience that our school community recently had during our winter trip to Mt. Hotham for downhill skiing and snowboarding! This trip was an incredible opportunity for our students to explore the snowy wonders of the Australian Alps, develop their skiing and snowboarding skills, and forge lasting memories with their peers.

Throughout the trip, students honed their techniques, conquered the slopes, and pushed their boundaries. It was incredible to witness their progress and confidence grow day by day.

The trip saw us getting a snow dump on the day we arrived with challenging conditions but with ample snow underfoot the boys were buzzing with excitement. As the days passed the weather got better and better with some amazing ‘blue bird’ sunny days. We had five days on the slopes with students making the most of every moment on the snow! They were able to explore the beautiful mountain with every student getting down the main intermediate lift by the end of the week!

We had a rest day in the middle of the week that consisted of a toboggan race championship, snowball fights and snowman contests. Evenings saw the students warming up in the spa and having fun in the indoor pool.

The time spent bonding with friends and teachers in such a magical setting created cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

I would like to extend my genuine appreciation to all the parents and guardians for their support and trust in making this trip a resounding success. Special thanks also go to our teachers and staff who accompanied and mentored our students throughout the journey.
