Dusty pink, light rose, magenta … what’s the difference? Huge, to anyone performing a titration!

Last week, Year 12 Chemistry students undertook round one of the Australian National Titration Competition. Finger dexterity, 20/20 vision, and indestructible quads were only some of the skills these 24 students displayed during their two hour experiment. Collaborating in groups of three, each team member performed two sets of acid-based titrations in order to determine the unknown concentration of a weak acid in a solution that was supplied to them. The diligence, enthusiasm, and impeccable technique displayed by each student was outstanding.

Fingers crossed for selection into State Finals!
