I’d love to invite you to a special fundraising event at my family’s garden, Evesham, on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 April 2025 over the ANZAC Day long weekend. Organised by the Young House boys, this event will raise funds for ‘Buddy Up & Sony Camp’ – a St Peter’s College program supporting children with disability. Enjoy a café, live music and the opportunity to explore a unique private garden, all while supporting a wonderful cause.

Evesham, dating back to the 1870s, has been carefully restored over the past decade to preserve its Edwardian Arts and Crafts heritage. The garden features European-inspired architecture, stunning views over the Aldgate Valley and vibrant autumn colours. Winding stone paths weave through spruce, fir and Japanese maples, alongside flourishing hydrangeas.

All proceeds from the event will support Buddy Up & Sony Camp, two programs dedicated to providing respite and support for families of children with disability:

Buddy Up offers a safe, engaging environment for children with disability to participate in activities every fortnight, giving parents and families a much-needed break.

Sony Camp, run through the Sony Foundation Children’s Holiday Camp, pairs students with children with disability, offering care and companionship while families take time to recharge.

The Young House boys will run the café, serving morning and afternoon tea, and provide live music throughout the day.
