Members of the St Peter’s College community are warmly invited to a Eucharist (Holy Communion Service) on Palm Sunday, 24 March. The service will be at 10am in the Chapel.

This service will remember Jesus’ entrance into Jerusalem at the beginning of what we now call Holy Week. It is a special service in the Christian calendar, marking the beginning of the last week of Jesus’ earthly life.

Palm Crosses will be available and will be blessed by me during the service. Traditionally, the following year the palm cross are burnt to create the ash used on Ash Wednesday.

Baptised members of all Christian denominations are welcome to receive Holy Communion in the Anglican Church.

A collection will be held during the service to support the Anglican Board of Mission.
