The Science Faculty is proud to celebrate an exceptional achievement in Physics, with two St Peter’s College students, Lochie Siow and Damon Tatarelli, jointly awarded the prestigious Bronze Bragg Medal. Presented by the South Australian Branch of the Australian Institute of Physics, this medal recognises the highest-achieving student in SACE Stage 2 Physics across the state.

Remarkably, both students attained the exact same top mark, earning this honour together. The medal is named after William Henry Bragg and William Lawrence Bragg, the father–son Nobel Prize winners whose legacy continues to inspire generations of physicists.

This rare and distinguished accomplishment reflects the strength of Physics at SPSC and the dedication, discipline, and intellectual courage of our students.
