The Premier’s Reading Challenge is in full swing in the Junior School, with students encouraged to complete the challenge this term. As the challenge is completed students receive a pirate charm to add to the School’s Find your Treasure display.
The competition between classes has been fierce, as the winning class was able to open the pirate treasure chest to reveal some incredible treasure.
Mrs Mara Cole and her class worked really hard as a team to complete the class challenge first, and excitedly opened the treasure chest to reveal gold coins and some books to add to their class library. Congratulations for working as a team and for reading so many books.
Many other classes are also close to finishing. The first class to finish in each Year level will receive a prize. So far, the Junior School has read over 24,000 books and we are encouraging all students to keep reading.
