Contratulations to Harvey Bryant whose Refugee Week poster has been selected for the Australian Migrant Resource Centre’s upcoming South Australian Refugee Week Student Poster Exhibition.
Harvey created this poster as a part of our Year 9 Art Design course, as an extension task in addition to his SATs at the end of Term 1. Harvey’s poster is one of 89 posters selected, out of 340 entries, from 55 schools. This is a superb achievement. Harvey will receive a Certificate of Merit and is eligible for a range of award prizes. We also acknowledge and praise other student entrants, from our Year 9 Art Design and Photography courses. We are proud of their efforts and the quality of their poster designs too.
The exhibition will be launched on Friday 21 June at the Children’s Art Space Gallery at the Adelaide Festival Centre. Everyone is encouraged to view and support the exhibition! After Friday 11 August the exhibition will tour extensively through regional and metro galleries.
