Congratulations to our School Vice Captain Aidan Hughes and Year 12 student Jake Nesbitt for being selected in the 2023 Australian Junior Rowing team.
Aidan has been selected as the coxswain of the Australian Women’s Under 21 coxed VIII and will compete in the Trans-Tasman Regatta against New Zealand in June this year.
Jake has been selected to row for the Australian Under 19 Coxless IV, along with three other boys from SA, and will be competing at the Junior World Championships in Italy later this year. Additionally, our very own SPSC Rowing coach William Raven will be coaching the Under 19 Coxless IV.
These achievements have come off the back of last week’s week-long selection event in Canberra.
