As the School’s SACE Coordinator, I act as a key contact point for your son’s progress through his final years in the Senior School.
All boys complete the Personal Learning Plan (PLP) in Year 10. Those students who choose SACE must also complete Mathematics or General Mathematics, English, Religion Studies and Research Project in Year 11, in addition to at least three elective subjects. In Year 12 each student at Saints completes five subjects of their choosing, unless they have already accumulated Stage 2 credits. This may be as a result of completing a Stage 2 (or equivalent) subject in Year 11, such as Integrated Learning or Year 12 Biology. These students may be eligible to study four subjects in Year 12 if they wish to.
Information about each subject taught at Saints is available from the Curriculum Guide on Keystone. I also encourage you and your son to access the SACE Board’s website. It has a dedicated students’ section, which can be accessed from the homepage.
