The South Australia French Teachers’ Association prize giving evening was held on Wednesday 20 October at St Peter’s College.

“Félicitations”, Congratulations to the following Junior School poetry winners:

  • Jonathan Jiao (Year 1) was the winner of the “Je suis poli” poem.
  • Kaeshav Rajesakaran (Year 2) was the winner of the Year 2/3 poem, “Une Chouette à bicyclette”
  • Phillip Makooh (Year 5) came second in the Year 4/5 category with his poem “Dans ma soupe”.
  • Abraham Lee (Year 1) received the Judges Award in the Reception/Year 1 category
  • Beau Leon (Year 3) came second in the Year 2/3 category

The following Senior School students received awards for excellence:

  • Devon Xu (Year 7 ) was awarded the SAFTA Award of Excellence for the top year 7 French student at St Peters College
  • Christian Bizot (Year 11) was awarded the Concours de L’Alliance for the top Year 11 student at St Peters College
  • Will Subramanian (Year 12) was awarded the Concours de L’Alliance for the top Year 12 student at St Peters College

Old Scholar Jimmy Psaltis (HWD 2020) was awarded the Alliance Française Prize for the student with the highest mark in French in the 2020 IB Diploma Examinations – ex aequo.
