On 2 August the Combined Saints and Walford Orchestra and String Orchestra performed a fantastic concert in Memorial Hall. The theme for this year was the movies, and we played some of the favourites, such as Harry Potter, Forest Gump and the James Bond Medley. The concert was a resounding success with the students performing to a phenomenal standard as well as being very proud of their work. There many hours of practice and hard work was evident. However, none of this could be possible without the support and dedication of our two outstanding conductors, Mr Sam Howes and Ms Lara Elsdon. They put in countless hours of their time into making us sound amazing and making sure that everything went smoothly, and we cannot thank them enough.
We look forward to seeing you at the Combined Saints and Walford Orchestra Concert next year.
