The St Peter’s College Junior School community came together recently for a truly S-pectacular Quiz Night, hosted by the Junior School Friends of Saints. The Function Space was filled with guests dressed as something beginning with the letter “S” whose laughter, friendly rivalry and unmistakable sense of community made it a memorable evening of fun.
Parents and staff embraced the theme, and the creativity on display did not disappoint! The room was filled with Swifties, Solar Systems, Sparkling guests, surgeons and more, all contributing to the vibrant and festive atmosphere. Among the standout entries was the team Wurst Case Scenario, who arrived dressed as a Saints sausage sizzle and deservedly took home both Best Dressed Table and Overall Winning Table.… very appropriate given the funds raised at this event sustain our activities throughout the year, including the boys’ sports day sausage sizzles! The imagination and enthusiasm shown by everyone certainly added an extra layer of enjoyment to the evening.
Quizzame kept everyone engaged with an exciting mix of trivia rounds that had teams collaborating, laughing and showcasing their impressive knowledge. While the trivia provided plenty of entertainment and there may have been a few competitive moments as teams vied for trivia glory, it was the conversation, friendship, camaraderie, teamwork and shared joy throughout the evening that truly stole the show.
A huge thank you to our dedicated Junior School Friends of Saints (JSFoS) Committee, whose hard work behind the scenes ensured the event was such a success. Events like these provide a wonderful opportunity for families to connect, strengthen friendships and celebrate what makes our school community so special.
A heartfelt thank you also to those that supported the event with their generous donations and auction bids which helped make the event a resounding success. From Santa’s helpers and sequins to sports stars and supporters, the creativity and spirit shown by everyone ensured it was a night to remember.
Thank you for continuing to support us as we support the boys and families of the Junior School. We look forward to many more opportunities to come together, build connections and celebrate the vibrant community that is Saints.
