We are thrilled to share the success of our recent SALA exhibition, Spin Cycle, which showcased the exceptional talents of our Years 7, 8, and 11 art students. The exhibition was the culmination of their work with our inspiring Artist in Residence, Jimmy Dodd, who spent three weeks guiding them through creative processes that push boundaries and challenge the imagination. Jimmy’s own thought-provoking pieces were also on display, alongside a collection of works by our skilled art staff, showcasing the breadth of talent within our school community.

The opening night of Spin Cycle was a vibrant celebration of the arts, made even more special by the talented Music students who provided a captivating performance, creating the perfect ambiance for the evening. A huge thank you to our dedicated student volunteers, who not only engaged guests in thoughtful conversations about the artwork but also processed sales with professionalism and enthusiasm.

We are proud to announce that the exhibition raised a total of $786, which has been donated to the Mission Guild to support their invaluable work in helping those less fortunate. The generosity of our School community continues to make a difference, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who contributed to the success of Spin Cycle.

Thank you to all the students, staff, and families who attended and supported this event. Your encouragement and participation in the arts enriches our community and helps foster creativity and empathy in our students.
