In Week 6, twenty-six junior boys from SPSC had an exciting opportunity to showcase their athletic talents at the SA Athletics Stadium in Mile End. They took part in the annual SAPSASA Track and Field Athletics Carnival, representing our School with pride. After rigorous skill development and testing during Term 3 PE lessons, these dedicated students competed in traditional Olympic track and field events against other schools in the North Adelaide Region. Their aim? To qualify for the prestigious State Championship event later this term. We’re proud of their hard work and sportsmanship throughout the competition!

Led by Mr Roberts, Mrs Horne and Ms Rohde, SPSC placed second overall in the North Adelaide district—particularly impressive considering we were competing against co-ed schools who were able to earn points in both boys’ and girls’ events.

The following boys represented SPSC: Jack Albanese, James Champion, Isaac Chisholm, Isaac Hogan, Thomas Koch, Finn Murphy, Sam Wells, Sebastian Zarei, Henry Bendyk, Eddie Bishop, Liam Bulluss, Oliver Cox, Douglas Cundy, Flynn Daly, Christian Farah, Angus Freney, Owen Pham, Carter Scarsella, Banjo Skeer, Huey Williams, Charlie Albanese, Campbell Boerema, Sean Cheng, Max Paradowski, Abe Tembel, and Oliver Watson.
