We are excited to announce that several of our talented Junior School athletes have successfully qualified for the State Cross Country Championships at Oakbank, where they will represent both our School and North Adelaide district.

A huge congratulations is in order for the following students, who displayed exceptional athleticism and determination in their performances at the trials for the North Adelaide SAPSASA team:
•        Abraham Tembel – 1st place in the 10-year-old age group
•        Douglas Cundy – 1st place in the 11-year-old age group
•        Sam Wells, Jonathan Bass, Angus Steel, and Isaac Hogan – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th place, respectively, in the 12-year-old age group

These outstanding results are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and sportsmanship displayed by these athletes. Their success at the district level sets the stage for what is sure to be an exciting State Championship competition at Oakbank.

The Year 5 participants even had to be given permission to leave the Year 5 Camp at Finnis so they were able to demonstrate their potential at the North Adelaide SAPSASA Trials.

Prior to the event Mr Roberts ran several trial events at school in late Term 1 and was able to nominate a group for the North Adelaide trials. These boys also had the opportunity to train prior to the event on Friday mornings with the SPSC Run Club program which runs across Junior and Senior schools.

We wish all of our qualifiers the best of luck as they compete for top honors at the SAPSASA State Cross Country Championships in June. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and look forward to cheering them on as they represent our school and district on this prestigious stage.
