It was a terrific day at Park 9 as our SPSC runners took on a flat but challenging cross country course across grass, gravel and dirt terrain. Spirits were high from the moment students arrived, with boys walking the track together and completing a strong team warm-up before racing began.

Three age groups competed on the day:

2016 age group – 2km
Henry Sims, Isaac Sims, Oscar Feng, Sai Tegginamat, Nyasha Mbizvo, Oliver Paradowski, Felix Junin, Peter Zhang and Maverick Grantham.

2015 age group – 3km
Charlie Albanese, Abe Tembel, Sean Cheng, Cash Disibio, Ned Downer, Oscar Wu, Max Paradowski and Harry Smith.

2014 age group – 3km
Douglas Cundy, Oliver Cox, Henry Bendyk, James Le, William Green, Angus Freney, James Knights and Toby Tier.

SPSC was proudly represented by 25 students, with nine boys, three from each age group, earning invitations to the State Championships at Oakbank in early June.
