Do you want to earn some Service Learning hours, and help the Art staff at the same time?
In preparation for our end-of-year exhibition, we need a group of students to help us repaint the large flats that we hang the Year 12 Artwork on.
Monday 10 November & Tuesday 11 November, 3.30pm – 5.00pm (Years 9 to 11) Please email Ms Turner (ATurner@stpeters.sa.edu.au) if you are available to assist.
After-school SEA
The Saints Extra Activities (SEA) Program based in the Junior School is looking for Years 9 to 11 students to support the physical, artistic, creative and lifestyle development of our Junior School boys. Your role will be to help provide instructions and encourage the boys to actively and positively participate.
SEA program activities include:
- Young Ninja (Foundation gymnastics)
- Minecraft Engineering / Chess / Lego
- Homework Club, Cooking
- Learn to Swim programs
- Soccer, Cricket, Basketball, Table Tennis, AFL
- Indoor Rock Climbing (Bouldering)
- Hip Hop Dancing and Music Theatre
- AND MORE
This is an after-school activity. Email ServiceLearning@stpeters.sa.edu.au with the day(s) you are available.
Reminder: record your hours via the Service-Learning Records
Here are the steps:
STEP 1: Register to volunteer with an organisation/charity. (If it’s a School-based activity, select ‘St Peter’s College’). Use the Service Learning Instructions page to help you.
STEP 2: Log Service Learning hours. Go to the Service Learning Records page to start logging your hours. Use the Service Learning Instructions page to help you.
STEP 3: Approval of Service Learning hours. Your supervisor / activity manager needs to approve your logged hours. Refer to the Service Learning Instructions page for support.
STEP 4: Write your reflection. Once your 20 or 45 hours are verified/approved by your activity supervisor, you will be able to write your reflection (150 – 200 words).
