We’re pleased to share that Mr Franklin Kovilpillai, Senior School Science teacher, has been recognised with the Outstanding Contribution to the Teaching of Science Award 2026 Senior Years.
This award is presented across three levels, with one recipient each in Primary, Middle and Senior Years. Franklin is this year’s recipient in the senior secondary category, a strong acknowledgment of his work in the classroom and his contribution to Science teaching more broadly.
Colleagues speak highly of Franklin’s depth of knowledge, his consistency and the way he supports both students and staff. His approach is thoughtful and considered and it has a clear impact on those he teaches.
