Our annual Senior School Swimming Carnival will be held next Friday 26 May at the South Australian Aquatic & Leisure Centre, 443 Morphett Road, Oaklands Park. This important inter House event follows a traditional format with all students having the opportunity to enter a minimum of two events. All students are expected to attend and I thank you in advance for your support in ensuring their attendance.
Students will travel to the event by school bus and return to school by 3.30pm. Students are not allowed to travel independently to the event. The school day will commence as normal at 8.35am with Mentor time. After morning Mentor all students will board buses in their House groups.
Should you wish to collect your son from the Aquatics Centre, please indicate your desire to do so by completing this form by Thursday 25 May 2023.
Students who have permission to travel separately from the Centre must check out with their Head of House prior to leaving.
Students are asked to wear their sports uniform with their House top to school. Please ensure your son brings his St Peter’s College bathers, a towel and suitable clothing. Valuables are not to be brought to the event and students have been advised that this is a device-free day.
Canteen facilities will be available on the day from 11am – 1pm. For day students, please ensure your son(s) brings plenty of water and a packed recess and lunch if preferred.
Parents and guardians are encouraged to attend and watch their son(s) participate in the Swimming Carnival. The first event starts at 10.00am with presentations scheduled for 2.15pm. A full program of events can be viewed here.
