On Sunday 15 May boys from Years 7 to 10 and their parents visited an Adelaide Hills Orchard to help pick apples for a worthy cause. Collectively we managed to pick 11 bins in total. The money raised from their sale will be donated to Kickstart For Kids, a South Australian organisation that provides a breakfast and lunch program for underprivileged children in South Australia.
We’d like to thank the Redwood family, Plummer Border Valley Orchards and Apple Valley Fresh for making this event possible. And a big thank you to everyone who came along. Together, we raised $1,000 for Kickstart for Kids.
