Congratulations to Daniel Spiby (Year 12) for being awarded a Service Learning Medal. This award recognises a student who demonstrates an outstanding commitment and contribution to school and community through their involvement in service.

Over his Senior School years, Daniel has achieved his Service Learning White, Blue and Gold Certificates and achieved Symbols and Colours.

He has dedicated hundreds of hours volunteering his time coaching School and Club Water Polo and Basketball teams developing young players and creating greater engagement in these sports.

Daniel has provided many hours of technical support to staff and students for multiple School productions and plays.

Furthermore, this term Daniel has started a weekly Water Polo program for Junior School students called ‘Flippa Ball’ as an introduction to the sport before students start in the Senior School.

Daniel is someone who lives and breathes Service Learning at the School and in the wider community and is a deserving recipient of this award.
