Volunteering Opportunities at SPSC
Students are invited to volunteer across a range of Service Learning opportunities at SPSC. Below is an overview of current opportunities available.

Buddy Up
After a positive start to the year, Buddy Up continues on Mondays after school in Term 2. We are seeking Year 11 student volunteers to partner with our guest children, take part in social activities and provide respite for families. Afternoon tea and dinner are provided.
Volunteers are required to hold a Working With Children Check. Feedback from families has been overwhelmingly positive, and Year 11 students who volunteered in Term 1 are encouraged to reapply.
Places are limited. Please contact JGilbert@stpeters.sa.edu.au to secure your place.

*If you are interested in volunteering for Buddy Up but are unavailable on Mondays, please get in touch and share your preferred day as we plan additional programs.

Mary Mags Dinner
With support from the School Mission Guild, SPSC hosts a dinner service twice a year on a Saturday evening for approximately 120 people experiencing cost of living pressures in Adelaide. It provides an opportunity for senior students, supported by staff and parents, to prepare meals in an environment of mutual respect, care and friendship.
We are seeking student volunteers aged 16+ for the following Mary Mags Dinners:
Dates and times
Friday 29th May (cooking after-school until 6pm) and Saturday 30th May (event in the city 4pm – 7pm)
