The Service Society held a morning tea early this term to celebrate a great year of service together and thank and farewell our Year 12 service leaders Alex Piscioneri and Bailey Kerr.
Every term break, together the Service Society volunteer for an organisation of their choice. This year, they have volunteered with Puddle Jumpers, AnglicareSA and Foodbank.
During the Term 3 break, eighteen students volunteered across six days at AnglicareSA’s Magdalene Centre sorting through food and clothing donations, putting together toiletry bags and packing backpacks for people experiencing hardship. Students will again be volunteering in the lead up to Christmas helping with the AnglicareSA Christmas Hamper Appeal.
Thank you to Hugo Curyer and Hugo Browne (Year 10) for leading the Service Society this term.
