During the remainder of Term 3, boys from all Houses in the Senior School will support the St Peter’s College Mission Guild’s “Small gift big difference” initiative by collecting items for homeless men in Adelaide. Building on the successful hampers for women, the group of Year 10 activists are hoping to collect items to make life for men living rough in Adelaide more dignified and comfortable.
Boys are encouraged to bring in a small contribution for the hampers. These items include: toiletry items such as tooth brushes, toothpaste, shampoo, soap and deodorant. Other useful items include face washers and hand towels, torches and batteries, rain ponchos, small tarpaulins and underwear such as underpants and t-shirts.
Any contribution to this collection is greatly appreciated and items will be distributed by Anglicare. Items can be handed to mentors, Heads of House or student representatives.
I thank you for your support of this worthwhile action.
