During Week 8, the Year 4 and Reception students walked together to the South Australian Museum. With a Science and HASS focus, the purpose of the collaborative excursion was to deepen their learning on materials, how things are made, what they are made for and how they are used with an Indigenous perspective. Boys also had the opportunity to explore and demonstrate their curiosity on other exhibits in the museum. The giant octopus and crystals were a hit.

It was a wonderful and engaging learning experience seeing the boys make connections across year levels. The Year 4 students shone to the leadership role, supporting their buddies and the Reception students maintained focus and did an amazing effort of walking.

Thank you to all the parents and staff who volunteered their time to support the excursion.
