On Monday 29 August, the EAL SPSC students participated in a Sports Social event with PAC at the Red Centre. The boys participated in a range of sports, including indoor Soccer, Table Tennis, Badminton, Chess and Basketball. They demonstrated good sportsmanship and collaborated well in their teams, rallying themselves effectively to overcome challenges posed in the games. The boys are to be congratulated on their efforts on the night, especially the Badminton team who won the trophy in a tight game.
After the trophy presentation, the boys enjoyed a dinner of pizza, chicken and wedges. I would like to thank the sports captains: Steven Zhang (Chess), Eric Tang (Badminton), Mark Ma (Basketball), Jason Qian (Table Tennis) and Joe Xu (Indoor Soccer) for their efforts in organising their teams and preparing for the night. Special thanks also go to the staff at PAC for hosting the event, the SPSC EAL Department, Rachel Spiby and Marcus Blackburn for their support on the night.
