Our Junior School SRC successfully completed two exciting initiatives towards the end of Term 3: the Footy Boot Donation Drive and the Blue Week Helping Hands Art Activity. Both projects highlighted our School’s commitment to service. The SRC Footy Boot Donation Drive was a huge success, with our School community coming together to donate wearable footy boots. These boots will help young people in the community participate in sport, fostering connections and promoting wellbeing. We received an incredible number of donations, and we are truly grateful for the generosity shown. Each contribution will have a lasting impact, and we are proud of what we have achieved together.

In addition to the donation drive, the SRC also led an artistic project as part of Blue Week. Students from across the Junior School painted their hands and left their mark on a large canvas, creating a vibrant and collaborative piece that symbolises our collective commitment to kindness, support, and service. Our artwork, titled Helping Hands for a Strong and Lovely School Community, beautifully captures this message. This creative activity allowed students to reflect on what it means to lend a helping hand while contributing to a shared project. The artwork will soon be displayed in our School as a reminder of the strength and connection we build when we come together as a community. A big thank you to all the students and staff who participated in these initiatives and made them such a success.
