A team of 26 St Peter’s College Senior School students came together to form our 2022 Cross Country Team. I congratulate every one of them for supporting the day, for supporting each other and for their overall approach to the day’s challenges.
The School managed to field teams in each of the 13, 14, 15 and 16 age group divisions with our Open team decimated by various illnesses. Prior to the State Championships, Junior School athletes were required to qualify via a SAPSASA District competition (North Adelaide District).
A special congratulations to:
- Stephen Lacroix-Sneyd (Year 9) for his gold medal effort in winning the 15 Year Boys race
- The 14 Year old Team of Archie Braithwaite, Fred Kidman, Louis von Doussa and Gustaw Czechowicz on winning Team gold (first 4 across the line automatically are acknowledged as your team placegetters).
A special thanks to all boys outside of our weekly Cross Country Squad for supporting our objective of fielding a team in each age group and to Isaac Trewartha (Year 9) for moving up an age group and distance in our efforts to field an Open team.
