The SSSSA (Secondary School Sport South Australia) and Track and Field Championship is a keenly contested one, open to all secondary schools in our state. There are six grades programmed across six days with two divisions in each of these grades. A promotion and relegation system is applied across all grades and divisions. For 2025, across the 12 competition groups, more than 100 Schools competed. This competition undoubtedly challenges a school community. Collegiality and willingness to serve are qualities at the forefront of success. 10 points are on offer for each first placing, descending points for placings from there. Despite scoring more points across the 60 events than our winning score in 2024, we finished a close 2nd to Trinity College.
