Congratulations to James Knights (Year 3) who competed in the State Junior Surf Lifesaving Carnival last weekend. The Carnival was held at Pt Noarlunga across Saturday and Sunday with Day 1 at Semaphore on Sunday 12 March.
James represented Somerton SLSC in many individual and team events over the three days. Individually, he won two bronze medals in the Division 1 Board and Division 1 Swim (3rd in the State for these two events), he finished 6th in the Division 1 long distance beach run and 12th in the Division 1 wade. He also anchored his Somerton team to finish 4th in the Division 1 Surf Swim, Board Relay and Wade Relay.
