On Thursday 24 August, five of our Open A1 Table Tennis team participated in the Statewide Schools Competition. The event was a whole-day competition, held at Woodville Table Tennis Club. The boys played three rounds of Table Tennis, and had consistent wins against Brighton High School, Adelaide High School and the Australian Science and Maths School. The final round against Glenunga International High School was a nail-biting finish by tying with three sets each, however our boys were successful in achieving a win of 13-12 games overall.
I would like to congratulate our players: Peter Zhang, Steven So, Yimo Liu, Jason Qian and Oliver Grieve for their efforts on the day and thank our coach Kay Crowell for her assistance during the event.
