For more than a century, Mission Guild has proudly served as a volunteer-led charity within the St Peter’s College community. Grounded in the values of service learning, community engagement and charity fundraising, Mission Guild plays an important role in supporting Anglicare SA and St John Youth Services. All funds raised are donated directly to these organisations. Mission Guild volunteers act as Community Service Ambassadors who lead by example and encourage the boys through their commitment to giving back. One of the most practical ways to get involved is by helping out at the Recycled Uniform Shop (RUS), an initiative that promotes sustainability and contributes significantly to Mission Guild’s annual donations.
Volunteer at the Recycled Uniform Shop
Helping out in the Recycled Uniform Shop is a simple yet meaningful way to give your time. We are currently seeking parents and guardians to assist just twice a term from 3.00 pm to 4.30 pm. It’s a small time commitment that makes a big impact and is a great way to show students the value of community support.
The proceeds from the shop make up a large part of the funds raised by Mission Guild. Your time directly supports young people and families in need across South Australia.
Get Involved
By volunteering with Mission Guild, you support the school’s long tradition of service and help build a culture of kindness and generosity among students. If you would like to join our team or learn more, please contact Dianna Karounos (Secretary) or Claire Grace (RUS Coordinator) at missionguild@stpeters.sa.edu.au or speak to a Mission Guild volunteer. We welcome all who are keen to contribute – small acts of service can make a real difference.
