On behalf of the St Peter’s College Mission Guild, I extend our heartfelt thanks to all who attended the High Tea on Sunday, 14 September. We hope you enjoyed the afternoon as much as we did.

Your presence and engagement played a vital role in the overwhelming success of this year’s event. We are delighted to share that $40,000 was raised in support of Anglicare SA and St John’s Youth Services.

The Mission Guild is all about connection – being part of something special. It’s about showing our children that by helping others, we can make a meaningful difference. Thanks to your generosity, we continue to positively impact the lives of vulnerable and disadvantaged members of our community, offering not only practical assistance but also hope for the future.

I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the High Tea sub-committee and our Mission Guild volunteers for their tireless dedication, energy, and commitment to making this event such a success. We couldn’t have done it without you!

We are also deeply grateful to our Live Auction sponsors Penny Iosifidis and Daniel De Angelis, Transform Orthodontic Care, Cheri Spargo from Bell & Brunt, Rachael Horbelt, Sequoia Lodge & Mt Lofty House, Simon Leonow, Nordic Design Furniture Sondra Deering, Golden Boy, and Anna Gerlach, Indulgence Food Design.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the generous donors of the Silent Auction, Mission Guild Raffle, and the Bird in Hand Sparkling Raffle. Your contributions were instrumental in the success of the event.

Our Bird in Hand Sparkling Wine Raffle sponsors, Andrew Nugent, Bird in Hand, Andrew and Missy Welch from Uncle Tom’s Shack, and Seb Packer and Ben Goldsmith, The Flying Fish Café.

Thank you to Event Partner, Kate and Hugh Laurie of Deviation Road, and Event Supporters, The Grace Collection Australia, Edible Blooms and The Flying Fig.

The new friendships formed and the spirit of collaboration we witnessed are inspiring reminders of why the Mission Guild High Tea has become a highlight on the school calendar—and why I’m so proud to be part of this community.

We look forward to welcoming you back for the 2026 Mission Guild High Tea on Sunday, 20th September 2026.

Mission Guild invites you to join us as a volunteer. Whether you can give a little or a lot of your time, your support is greatly appreciated. Please email missionguild@stpeters.sa.edu.au for more information.

Message from the Mission Guild Patron

It is with great pride and gratitude that I acknowledge the outstanding success of this year’s Mission Guild High Tea, which raised $40,000 in support of Anglicare SA and St John’s Youth Services. My sincere thanks go to the Mission Guild Committee, volunteers, sponsors, and all who attended and contributed so generously.

The work of the Mission Guild is closely aligned with the School’s Christian values and mission: Pro Deo et Patria – For God and Country. Being for God means we are for truth. Being for Country means we are for the service of our wider community. In identifying and responding to the needs of others, the Mission Guild reflects these values in a profound and practical way.

As the School’s largest social enterprise, the Mission Guild’s work mirrors the service learning undertaken by our students, including our Buddy Up program, where students provide after-school respite for families in our greater community who have a child with disability. These shared efforts remind us that our values of truth, respect and service are central to who we are as a School community.

Thank you once again for your generosity and commitment to this important work. Together we are making a real difference.
