The long-awaited Theatresports Troupe is up and running at SPSC!
Based on a series of structured drama games, TheatreSports challenges actors to create instant theatre in a high-energy performance. Much of the inspiration for this comedy improv comes from the audience, making Theatresports a uniquely engaging experience for all.
Last term, we held the first SPSC Theatresports competition in the Drama Centre, and these brave students certainly wowed! The audience laughed til they cried as students competed in teams, thinking on their feet to earn points and entertain. Professional actor, Eden Trebilcock from ImproNow! facillitates coaching sessions, and we would love to welcome new members. Our next competition will be towards the end of term 2, so reach out if you would like to come and join the fun!
