SACE Results
The Year 12 SACE results are expected to be released online on Monday 16 December. This will include an Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR), which determines whether a student is successful in gaining entry into a university course.
IB Results
The IB results are expected to be released online on Tuesday 17 December and can be accessed via https://candidates.ibo.org. Students will require their Personal Code and PIN, which will be sent to students via email. Further result breakdowns will be emailed out by Ms Fleming, who can be contacted during this period at lfleming@stpeters.sa.edu.au.
The School will release the combined SACE and IB results to the School community on Tuesday 17 December.
Change of Preferences
South Australian University applicants can change their preferences up until Thursday 2 January for most courses. Preference changes can be made online through SATAC (www.satac.edu.au). For students applying to universities interstate, please check the relevant Tertiary Admission Centre, as preference change dates vary significantly. All states allow some time for preference changes.
University Offer Rounds
The main university offer rounds will commence on Friday 10 January while the second offer rounds will take place on Thursday 23 January. Offers will continue throughout February and March.
Career Counselling
Year 12 boys and/or their parents are welcome to visit or contact the careers office to discuss tertiary entry and/or training options including matters such as:
• Changing preferences
• Course requirements
• Alternate courses/pathways
To facilitate this support, the Careers Counsellor will be available in the Careers Centre from 9am to 3pm on Monday 16 December: coinciding with the SACE results release. You are welcome to come into the school in person, phone, or email Mr Matthews. The careers office will also be monitoring emails on the Tuesday 17 January when the IB results are released.
