One of our key priorities this year is to increase the visibility of the Psychology Services team within our School community. We understand that children, young people, and their families are more likely to seek support when they know who their school psychologists are and understand how to access our services.

Coffee and Chat mornings
The Psychology Services team hosted Coffee and Chat mornings during Term 1 across both the Junior School and Middle Years/Senior School campuses. These informal events offered parents and carers the opportunity to learn more about the vital role school psychologists play in supporting student mental health and wellbeing. It was also a chance to ask questions, gain insight into how we work collaboratively with staff and families, and understand our holistic approach to student support.

Presentation to students
In addition to these events, our team has been visiting year levels across Prep to Year 12 to introduce ourselves directly to students. We’ve been explaining our role within the School and providing clear guidance on how students can access psychological support if and when they need it.

School TV
We also encourage families to explore SchoolTV, a valuable wellbeing resource designed to support parents in navigating the challenges of modern-day parenting. SchoolTV provides expert insights, videos, and practical strategies on a wide range of topics, helping parents start conversations that can sometimes feel awkward or difficult.

Both our Psychology Services page and SchoolTV can be accessed via Keystone.

We look forward to continuing to build strong, supportive relationships with our students and families throughout the year.
