On Friday 7 August, more than 200 students and parents from the Junior and Senior Schools participated in the Hutt Street Centre’s Walk A Mile Challenge. It was a different walk this year walking around the School grounds; however, we braved the elements and showed those in our community experiencing homelessness that we care.

Throughout the week, the Junior School engaged in many meaningful conversations around homelessness, wrote letters of hope to others and raised funds to support the Hutt Street Centre. The Hutt Street Centre work tirelessly to give those experiencing homelessness hope and support. They provide opportunities for these people to rebuild their lives without judgement.

Thank you to those people who participated in the walk and to those who generously donated. It was wonderful to see so many staff, boys and their families on a cold morning to happily participate in such a worthwhile cause.

In total we donated $4,367 to the Hutt Street Centre. Thank you for making a difference in people’s lives.
