On Friday 10 August, over 200 people from the Junior School community braved the elements to participate in the Hutt Street Centre’s Walk A Mile In My Boots.
In total the event was supported by over 5000 people from all walks of life, showing those in our community doing it tough, that they care.
The Hutt Street Centre work tirelessly to give those experiencing homelessness hope. They create opportunities for these people to live independently and develop a sense of worth.
Thank you to those people who participated in the walk and to those who donated generously. It was wonderful to again see so many boys and their families happy to be part of such a worthwhile cause.
In total we donated $3125 to the Hutt Street Centre.
