With the return to school, we are also thrilled to kick off a vibrant term of summer sports. The energy and anticipation are palpable as we look forward to a season filled with growth, teamwork, and outstanding sportsmanship. Last week, it was great to see the Cricket, Tennis and Rowing communities coming together to celebrate the start of the year and the return to sport.

A Core Element of Our Educational Journey

At St Peter’s College, we firmly believe in the holistic development of our students. Sport plays a pivotal role in this journey, fostering not just physical wellbeing but also teaching invaluable life skills such as discipline, leadership, and the importance of teamwork. This term, we are calling upon our students to approach their sports with unwavering dedication and commitment. It is an opportunity to represent our school with pride, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. At the Academic Muster this week, we heard from Mr Carter and 2023 Dux Darren Nguyen, about the importance – even necessity – of broad engagement in the life of the School in underpinning academic excellence.

Stay Updated with Fixtures on Sport Zone

Understanding the dynamic nature of organising school sports across an Association that boasts some 30 schools, we kindly remind parents and students that weekly fixtures will be available via Keystone on Sport Zone. This is the single source of truth when it comes to confirming fixture information. Each Thursday afternoon, at the very latest, you can find detailed information about the week ahead, including times and venues for both Senior and Junior School fixtures. Senior School fixtures are already in full swing, and Junior School fixtures will begin next week. The scheduling flexibility allows each participating school to adjust their home games based on their operational needs, which vary significantly from week to week affected by weather, events and school wide activities, ensuring the best possible experience for students and supporters.

Join Us on the Sidelines

The exceptional community of learning is what drives sport at St Peter’s College. We eagerly anticipate the presence of our parents, friends, and supporters on the sidelines, cheering on our teams. Your encouragement plays a crucial role in uplifting our players and fostering a sense of unity and community.

As we embark on this term’s sporting adventures, we look forward to the achievements and memories that our students will create.
