I was fortunate last weekend to attend the ‘The Imperfects Live’, a presentation by Hugh van Cuylenburg, Ryan Shelton and Josh van Cuylenburg who present the Imperfects podcast. This podcast has become a staple in my playlist and certainly the live show did not disappoint. It made me reflect on how lucky we are that there are so many organisations talking about mental health and the resources that teachers, families and students can now access. The books, podcasts, tv series, movies, websites and presentations that are bringing mental health and wellbeing to the forefront of our minds. At times it can be difficult to know what to turn to but what I find the best is when I am recommended a resource from someone who has already experienced some benefit from it.

I wanted to take this time to remind all of our families of our access to the digital platform SchoolTV as a resource for the community. SchoolTV has an extensive range of wellbeing resources. Parents can access this tool from a tile in Keystone or by following this link.

The conversations that are occurring around mental health and wellbeing are so important for all of us. Many of these conversations talk about the importance of connections and as a community we continue to strive to grow these connections. Please reach out if you would like to discuss any aspects of your son’s wellbeing.
