During Term 1 there have been a number of parent sessions in the Junior School with a focus on teaching and learning and wellbeing. In Week 6 I was fortunate to present with School Psychologists Jane Walch and Shannon De Silva about wellbeing, student relationships and engagement.

I was able to introduce parents to the School’s Wellbeing Framework and share our re-engagement with the URStrong program across the Junior School. Jane and Shannon were able to share their work across the School and the importance of sleep and nutrition for our students. You can access the slideshow from the presentation at this link. If you have any questions about the slideshow, please feel free to make contact with myself or our School psychologists.

As part of our work at St Peter’s College we recommend and provide connections to a variety of resources and programs.

URStrong provides a free membership for parents, allowing families to be able to learn, share and discuss the strategies used to develop and support relationships. This membership can be accessed through this link.

St Peter’s College has access for parents to the SchoolTV resource which provides support across a number of topics focussing on wellbeing theory and practice. Parents can access this site through a tile on Keystone or at the following link.
